Vertical exhaust systems, mounted in construction equipment (dump trucks, haulers, bulldozers, loaders and others), very often require protection against rainwater that could get inside. This would significantly accelerate the corrosion of such an exhaust system and lead to rapid destruction. It would also be possible to damage the engine with water that got inside the exhaust system. The best protection in this case is rain covers. They open automatically during the exhalation work, allowing the exhaust gas to flow freely and closing the exhaust during its inactivity.
